A launching ceremony for national scale-up of Electronic Management Information System of MOHFW (eMIS) was held on 11 October 2017. Honorable Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Mr. Mohammed Nasim, MP formally launched the national scale-up in 5 new districts.
To mark the occasion, a new video was prepared and shown during the ceremony. The video depicts how eMIS tools such as eRegisters are used by community health workers at the grassroots level, how digital technologies are helping to ensure continuum of care to the service seekers and how managers are using data generated through the eMIS to monitor and improve performance of the health system at the local level.
